Hi, my names Ray and I'm new to this whole diary/blog thing so please bear with me until I get the hang of it. I was asked to join by a friend and since I'm recently in a position with lots of free time and not much, other than my studies, to fill it with he though this might be a good idea to help me fill that time. Ok, I guess a little about me is in order so here goes. About 10 years ago I was at the lowest point in my life, I lost my father to health issues, I was on parole for child support, the girl I was dating just got life in prison, and I was heavy into meth when I met my future wife. Of course I was partying at the time and she looked like a good candidate for the nights entertainment. As it turned out she was So much more. We started dating, and I soon realized how bad I was treating myself physically and emotionally. I was depressed, lonely and on the edge of suicidal. My only goal was to stay numb, hide from the world and more importantly myself. She brought me out of all that, helped me clean up, become drug free, except for my cigarettes and the occasional drink, and try to put my, (now our life) together. We've been married for 7 years now and have a wonderful 9 year old daughter. Oh how life changes! Well, time to get started around here so until next time.....................
